History
I started site making back in 2004, right before my birthday. My first site was called Sugar, and was still a personal site, like this site is now. There weren't many pages, and so the site was very small. It had lists of my favorite anime series, anime characters, and so on. It had only one layout, which had Misha from Pita-Ten, on it. The image was from the manga. Sugar shut down from lack of updating and the server going down.Strawberry Wine was first made on September 3, 2005. It has content that was never on Sugar, and will be probably updated more than Sugar had. The name is from the wonderful song sang first by Deanna Carter, Strawberry Wine, from her Did I Shave My Legs For This? album. Yes, she sings country.
Layout
Strawberry Wine's first layout features Ichigo from the manga, Tokyo Mew Mew. It is a super deformed version of her, which had a strawberry at the bottom but it was cut off. The image was from Cafe Mew Mew. It is a table layout with valid CSS and HTML.
